Chelsea & Man United battle for ‘N’Golo Kante’s little brother’

French daily Le Parisien have recently reported on the chase for French youngster Elye Wahi.

Wahi is a 14-year-old forward who plays for Caen.

The kid made a name for himself last season scoring 89 goals playing for the under-14 and under-15 teams.

The hot-prospect was at it again during the Normandy-based club’s development friendly with Paris Saint-Germain’s juniors, where he netted twice in a 5-2 defeat.

So why are the French media dubbing him ‘N’Golo Kante’s little brother’?

That’s because Elye Wahi started his career with JS Suresnes; the same small club where Kante starting out too.

Elye was recruited by Caen in May 2016, and he’s already picked up a collection of Premier League admirers.

Liverpool, Tottenham, Southampton, Manchester City, Manchester United and Juventus.

However it’s believed that Chelsea are leading the race to sign the youngster.

The truth is, however, that Elye is going nowhere at the moment. He’s unable to move to a foreign club until he’s 16.

Piotr Wojtyna, the current U17 coach JS Suresnes, was asked about Elye’s comparisons to Kante. He replied:

Elye is a phenomenon in relation to his age. He is able to make a difference at any time with the ball.

N’Golo Kante was an enormous man with great intelligence.

Elye is a rough diamond that must progress on the mental side.

This kid has a gift, I only hope he will not spoil it because the way is long.
